Over the years the relationship between Stremicks Heritage Foods and Nestle grew and in 1994 Stremicks Heritage Foods was one of only four companies in the U.S. to grant an exclusive license from Nestle to manufacture, market, sell, and distribute both ESL (extended shelf life) refrigerated products including Coffee-mate, Nesquik, Nestea, and Kern’s beverages west of the Mississippi.

In 2009 Nestle built their own manufacturing plants in the U.S, dissolving the need for their licensees. However, due to the strong relationship between Nestle and Stremicks Heritage Foods and Stremicks proven commitment to the quality of Nestle products, Nestle continued the relationship with a co-packing agreement with Stremicks Heritage Foods.
